It’s the same things that’ve plagued them the last few seasons - teams hit all their 3’s against them, they are careless with the call and they don’t rebound - only way to fix that is with players who can do it

Bobby Portis had a great run as a buck but he took the most shots tonight and put up a stellar -21

only way they are improving is if they trade him and pat

they’ll be a playoff team becasue Giannis will will them to it but they aren’t a contender

 

as someone whose team looked like ass until the All-Star break last season and ended up making the Finals, pump the brakes.

 

Sure but this is the same stuff for the last few seasons - nothing has changed

they have zero good young players to revitalize the roster because our GM cannot draft players for the life of him

they are old they are a step behind every play they insist on never playing Giannis at rbe 5 even tho that’s when they are at this best

 

I still believe they'll be a top team in the East. Maybe not to the same level as the Celtics, but up there.

 

They’ll be anywhere from the 4-7 seed

Boston New York Indiana and Orlando are better

a healthy Philly is probably better too

 

I’ll probably enjoy the season more once I come to grips that this isn’t a title contending team any longer and just savor the final Giannis moments

 

Didn't know Orlando was expected to be good. Tbf i don't follow the East closely lol

 

I don’t think Miami is actually that old if you take out Burks, Jimmy, and Love. All technically have one year left, Jimmy has a player option he’ll probably decline if he has a good year. But yes I do think they do need another big name for them to have high expectations.

 

Losing by less than 25 to Boston tomorrow will be a minor victory in itself
