The Cavs playing a game at 9 p.m. on New Years Eve might just be the worst scheduling move in professional sports history.

 

I don’t think it’s that big of a deal lol

 

surely there have been much worse schedulings

 

MLB puts wildcard series games on like noon on a wednesday in october lol

9pm on a night where people are exclusively gathered in living rooms around a television seems,,,,,,, fine

 

i for one will be requesting the cavs game at my new years eve party instead of 3 hours of ryan seacrest

 

or you could watch actually good teams play on new years eve like Twolves @ Thunder

My wife and I were married on NYE - and this year marks our 10-year-anniversary so the Cavs playing at 9 p.m. is going to be a massive battle for me.

A few years ago they played on NYE at 8 p.m. vs the Bulls and we had a big party and the game went down to the wire so I spent most of the night by myself in another room ZEROED in on the game.
