Prices are beyond out of control at arenas. I am a 'Cavs United' member due to my ticket package and am supposed to get significant discounts on alcohol, food and drinks ($5 off a beer, $6 off liquor, $6 off a burger, $4 off a hot dog, $3 off a pop, etc) however, none of the people working the stands all over the arena have any idea how to actually apply the discount or aren't even aware of the program so it's a big sell for the ticket package but it's not worth the hassle of holding up a line trying to save a few dollars on a drink or a food item.

 

i just dont get concessions in arenas anymore. i know thats not 'the point' and the prices shouldnt be as insane as they are, and i am sure going to a game with a family or with children its easier said than done to not get anything, but all my eating and drinking is done beforehand and maybe i'll get A beer inside in like the 2nd or halftime.

 

Yeah usually just a water for me

 

When I go with my wife (or my dad) we get at least two beers/mixed drinks each.

When I take my son, I get water (if anything) and he’ll get either nachos and a pop or dip n dots.

After being a loyal Magic fan for the past three decades I have finally booked a trip to Orlando to experience a home game this spring. Always been a visitor rocking the blue at MSG, Philly, NJ (nets before BK), and even charlotte. So excited to be home and experience it. And buy merch! Lol

 

If he wants to help fans have better experiences he’s gotta replace the Dasani. Worst water ever.

Been trying to catch a game whenever I’m back in the area. Really enjoy the arena.

 

I’m still team NBA Cup is fun, but the format does need some tweaking for sure. I like the idea of divisions being the groups. They’re pretty meaningless right now and it would be a good way to respark those rivalries.

I also think using the championship game as a tie breaker would be a nice added incentive. Imagine having that in your bag as a team in the west.

The biggest thing is just getting more fans and enthusiasm in the arena. Once again in the first half (when it was still a competitive game) is felt like a practice gym.
