Really liked that Peaness song and Middle Kids cover of “Driving Home For Christmas,” but yeah, everything else felt like a wash. And damn, we need a moratorium on “Last Christmas” covers.

 

This is from last year but I was just reminded of it and am now on my second listen in a row:

 

I'm hoping for good stuff this week, maybe, we'll see. Was hoping for a proper single from The Heathen and the Holy, but it's just an album of all the stuff they've already released.

 

Discovered Bad Moves this year and they are pop rock gorgeousness, fantastic live if you get the chance, you can tell they just love playing music.

The new Birthday Dad Christmas song is incredible

 

I'm not sure what to do with this one. I was expecting a brutal assault on all things Christmas, fueled by industrial destruction and it's none of those things.

 

1 minute in and I am hooked!
