Had fun watching the game last night at a community watch party with some relatives who know very little about hockey but are always down to join a bandwagon.

Begrudgingly happy for the Cats though I definitely don't support them having their celebration parade in Ft Lauderdale because it should held where they actually play so they can do laps around Sawgrass Mills (the mall their arena is next door to) and making stops at every restaurant and food kiosk that shithole offers.

Dude this sucks. I’m over Yzerman. He has no clue lately. We keep signing players to awful contracts, moving the good players to make cap space, and repeat.


I’m guessing they’re doing this to try and re-sign Kane. But im over it.

 

Like. What is the long term plan here. Yes we have good prospects still. But these dumb contracts given out to Holl, Chiarot, etc. are making it harder to fit those good players contracts under the cap.

I’ll see how the offseason plays out, but I’m extremely tired of it. He’s been deemed untouchable but it’s time to ask questions.

 

I understand not getting a lot for Walman because everyone knows they’re trying to clear space. Having to pay to get rid of him when he’s their best guy aside from Seider makes no sense. They couldn’t get anyone to take Olli Maatta for a draft pick?
