I haven't been so I can't fully compare but I've heard is referred to as a Little NOLA of sorts.

 

I haven’t been to NOLA yet but Savannah’s NOLA esque area (as far as what I’ve seen of NOLA in content) is REALLY little, I see the resemblance but it’s way smaller in scale for sure even to be called “little”

 

Oh yes the emphasis is definitely on Little. NOLA is internationally known, Savannah is regional at best lol.

NOLA is tbh probably the best city with a metro population under 2 million in the US

And yes that includes Nashville. I like parts of Nashville, but NOLA does the things Nashville is known for better while also being cheaper. Food, music, all of it

as someone who will probably never leave the southeast again, most cities in the southeast kinda suck, savannah not excluded. NOLA isn’t the southeast, people need to look at a map.
