Boygenius at Red Rocks in the rain was easily a top experience of a show for me. Holy shit I loved this.

 

That timeline isn’t wrong for the surgery they said he had, but normally they aren’t walking on it for the first 6 weeks. Apparently he could have still had a repair but it may have been small enough that his doc could have accelerated his timeline a bit.

I’ve never treated anyone that was the case for but they’re usually more conservative with anyone that isn’t an elite athlete lol.

Me? No

 

Me? No, I’m a physical therapist. I work in outpatient orthopedics so we get a lot of post-surgical patients and I have to be familiar with protocols for surgeries and such.

Edit: Well…I should just say I’m not an MD. My degree is technically a doctorate of physical therapy but I never refer to myself as doctor lol.

gonna start doing that more. It’s too bad people only got video of my first somewhat sloppy song before I got “in the zone”, I wish somebody caught video of me doing my new thing where I loop multiple guitar parts on two amps

 

I once went to a show where the band or someone was projecting an episode of Naruto in the background during a set

Yeah this was a mix of a lot of things. The guy does glitchy / staticky and very colorful displays that include anime, nature, clips of movies, and hazy backdrops of the artist performing (among other things)

the best part is he does them live. Idk how but he needed a whole table for all the devices he uses to create visuals on the fly. Obviously he samples video clips, but everything on top of that is live and not pre-recorded, and he selects colors and clips based on the vibe of the artist playing.

 

Guy kept insisting on doing it for free but I was like no dude you are getting paid like one of the bands. He drove 2 hours and brought all his gear and did this just because he loves to do it and loves music. And he’s doing it at my next show too. What a guy.

 

Watch them end up getting Daniel Jones, Derek Carr, and Ryan Tannehill

 

I really respect Trevor’s humility. Everyone’s crowning him except himself. “Not the right time”, I interpret that as “I’m still green, I still got a lot to learn” and I love that self awareness
