Also, the CBA should fight to remove both the franchise tag and fifth-year option in order to help not just running backs but all players because both the tag and option are stupid, anti-player tools that teams can use to keep them under cheap, team control and so they are bad

I'll happily clarify my opinion on the matter though, in the interest of transparency.

My take: If you play even a single snap of professional football, you should take every single penny you fucking can from one of those 32 billionaires. You're one of the most talented people on the planet, and the owners by and large are the children of people who once had jobs

Unfortunately, those nepo babies are going to do everything they can to avoid actually paying people. One of their best tricks is to convince X.com reply-guys that their best players, the only ones who make their business mean more than Milo's dirty diaper, that they should take less money for the good of the team or their teammates.

 

It’s a salary cap league so other players are benefiting from RBs being paid less. If it were me everyone would be paid the same because I’m a communist but if I was a capitalist and ran a team I wouldn’t pay running backs either under the current rules. A great running back would get like 10-11 million per for 2 years, more if he can get the team to convince the qb to take a pay cut.
It kinda sucks but it’s also kinda rich people problems they can work it out
