Love that crib life

Its funny, the weird way my homes A/C ducts are set up, and how air gets trapped sometimes...we had our daughter in a bassinet in our room for like 5 months (which, the guidelines alone are insane...every rec is by 6 months in their own bed, but also, they recommend having them in your room for a year!?)...and a late winter cold snap for whatever reason made our room super cold, while the other side of the house (where her room is) was warmer. So she got moved over that night, initially in the bassinet, then her crib, and just never came back.

She's always been a roller/mover anyway, and was starting to turn herself sideways in the bassinet and getting stuck, so it was for the best...but also, in that move she went from pretty good sleeper (maybe 6hrs, a waking for feed, then another 4-5hrs) to just straight up sleeping through the night entirely.

Moral of the story: you're about to get your sleep life back. They'll be some regressions/phases, but, we went from "sleep in our room, smart monitoring sock on, etc" to now where I occasionally forget to turn by audio monitor on and 11hrs later I wake up and she's playing with a doll in her bed waiting for me to get her.
