I think betting on any NFL game feels like an obvious clear line. Same way family members of orgs cant win a lottery/sweepstakes. Just cant have any hint of "well, actually he's good friends with WR X who told him he wasnt gonna play" kinda stuff.

But them betting on the NBA/UFC/etc...who cares.

 

I don’t disagree.
The thing about betting on other NFL games feels muddied with fantasy football. There isn’t inherently money exchanged with it, but you know there probably is.

and now fantasy football is muddied with daily fantasy football, one of which is an organized sports gambling game branded as fantasy football and the other of which with a buy-in is on par with joining your office bracket pool (and if you rig your community fantasy football league by actively throwing NFL games instead of like colluding on a trade or something, you kinda deserve the pool just for how unhinged that would be)

If Randall wins this dynasty league by getting blackmail on Zac Taylor and forcing him to bench Joe Burrow after one drive in our league championship game or stealthily becomes the Bengals’ team chef and gives Burrow and Mixon minor food poisoning before our league championship game, I will pay a buy-in in our free league for him to collect because of his dedication to the craft

 

I don’t think the NFL makes them add Sr to their jersey, I think they purposefully name their child Jr so they can be a sr and want to add it to their jersey I imagine.
