Funny part in all of this is that Michigan could have locked him up to a big extension before all this signal stealing stuff, made the buyout big, and made this a non-issue. Instead, it now costs like $2mil to buy him out?

My weird employee today was unbothered by the raccoons but he did cut holes through a piece of paper for eyes and wore that for like 20 minutes.

I think they’re firing him tomorrow afternoon but I asked them to do it after I’m gone so if he goes wild I’m not there

 

Apparently, according to a couple of Eagles beat writers I listen to, if a player practices in full throughout the week, they don’t have to go in the injury report. It seems obvious, but with Hurts’ injury, it was a topic of discussion, but the understanding is that he has missed zero practice time as a result of it, hasn’t even been limited.

I wonder if the Burrow injury was something similar where it hampered him, but didn’t interfere with his ability to practice in full throughout the week and, therefore, the Bengals didn’t need to put him on the injury report.

Not saying it’s right or defending it. I’m just sharing because I didn’t realize that a player with an injury doesn’t need to go on the injury report so long as it doesn’t prohibit them from practice in full.

 

Re Burrow being injured through the week, I saw something on the Ravens subreddit a few days ago that apparently the Bengals twitter had posted practice images and one showed Burrow in an arm brace, then the tweet was quickly deleted and reposted without that specific image.

That probably tallies with him being able to practice all week so not on the injury report etc.
