Problem is, that still doesn’t say how much of it is Lawrence and how much of it is the O-Line

We have not done a good job of actually giving him 2.5 - 4 seconds, and the times he does hold the ball that long it’s out of absolute necessity (third and long etc) at times when the defense is likely to blitz

part of that’s our O-Line which played like absolute ass yesterday, and sometimes yeah it’s Trevor trying to do too much in a frustrating offensive game (like that second INT he threw, or the fumbles in the Eagles game last year, etc)

But, sorry to beat a dead horse here - when you don’t establish the deep pass, opponents can play downhill without worry and they can stack the line of scrimmage / blitz every time you’re in a must pass situation. Press Taylor is making it a lot easier to overwhelm our line and Lawrence with pressure because he is giving defenses no threat that makes them back off, hesitate and play deeper. They only have to cover within 20-30 yards 90% of the time
