It’s like, you can’t just be like “duh, the highest point IN PITTSBURGH is lower than the city of Atlanta” and ignore the 3000+ foot mountains literally 20 minutes outside of town - yeah Pittsburgh city limits are lower, because it was built in the valley lol. That is 100% a mountainous area and doesn’t become unmountainous until you head toward Ohio. This is a perfect example of people interpreting stats wrong and thinking it makes them objective

you’re looking at the topography in a zoomed in cherry picked standpoint though. Actual science is cross examining context to see if that measurement holds up to the actual thing being disputed

unmountainous is a good word

 

Declaring the region unmountainous is wrong. You can declare that Pittsburgh itself wasn’t built on high elevation, but you can’t claim the area isn’t mountainous.

 

It’s probably not a word but I don’t care lol it communicates its message
