yeah COVID ruined our honeymoon so we didn't really go anywhere. stayed at a place in downtown Seattle for a night and then another place north of Seattle on the water for 2 days.

actually going to Asheville in a few weeks to finally have some semblance of a honeymoon

@JoshIsMediocre I lived near Destin for a while, the beach is nice, but all there really is to do there is the beach and drink. Crab Island is cool (it’s a sandbar where people party, water is waist high), but you need a boat to get there.

Definitely go to NOLA or Colorado instead, I was in southeast Missouri for a week and I thought it was very nice, right on the river, so St. Louis would be pretty at the least. I personally am not a huge NOLA fan but the museums and stuff there make it easily above Destin.

Edit: Plus if you REALLY want the beach, you can drive 5/6 hours to Destin or any beach west of there for a shorter drive from NOLA

 

we went to Seattle for a weekend in October 2019 (as an anniversary trip) and had a pretty good time except for taking ubers everywhere. I was so carsick every time

 

I'd argue the city is underrated

 

All I’m gonna say is that is way less likely to happen in New Orleans hahah

 

you can pay to have your own parade in NOLA

 

My wife and I were gonna go to NOLA in January for her birthday but now she wants to go to Vegas. So that sucks.

 

Ana is the opposite. She will not compromise on food or air conditioning.

Rome is like not even a top 5 city to visit in Italy it’s so weird.

I’ve been to Vegas twice but never in a fun setting. Once was with my gf at the time and her family and once was for work. The second time though an old dude told me I walked like a pimp so that was cool.
