Do you think Penix is better than McCarthy?

 

Penix is a better college QB but I think his zero rushing stats hold him back from the Heisman

 

I havent watched Penix since he left Indiana but I have a hard time believing anyone is playing qb better than McCarthy right now. Hopefully NFL scouts disagree with me lol.

 

Jayden should be the unanimous Heisman rn unless you're voting for a non-QB. Best QB relative to NFL success rn is Maye but yeah McCarthy is solidifying himself as a top ten, maybe top five pick. Penix has been very good since Indiana tbh and if he didn't have a bad injury history he'd be seen as a top QB

I guess I dont see how its far fetched to think JJ is playing as good or better as any qb in the country.

 

You admitted to not watching a QB play for two years. So what makes you think JJ is as good/better than Penix?

 

Cause JJ is playing near perfect ball right now.

 

Pretty easy when you know what defense is gonna be run.

 

Also helps the toughest team they've played is probably Rutgers.

Really hope that the Big 10 listens to the other schools to step in and act this season. Kind of have my doubts that something will happen before the season is over.

 

I doubt the Big 10 will do anything this year. I'm sure they're looking at the $6million dollar payout if a Big10 team makes the CFP.
