It's only one game, but I'm really happy with how Orlando looked. They played really active defense, got 61 points from the bench, and apparently set a team record for opening night margin with their 30 point win. Paolo only took 8 shots, but he definitely forced stuff at points last year so I'm not worried.

Seems the Heat won’t end their trend of ending up in clutch games like last season lol, offense went cold in the 4th. A win’s a win though.

Bam showed why he’s one of the best defenders in the league at the end and Jaime looks league ready as advertised. V impressed with Thomas Bryant in the back up center role too. Herro had a bad shooting game but stepped up on defense and led the team in +/- so I’ll take it.

 

The hot takes are gonna be out this week but things don't really start taking shape until 10-15 games in
