If anything it just showcases that this Celtics team is a super team on the verge of a dynasty

People said super similar things about the Nuggets last season and they didn’t hit the WCF. Now, what Boston has on its side is that it does seem likely that the East is significantly easier for the next few years and the West will be a bloodbath so that by the time a team gets to the Finals they’ll be more worn down and banged up and played more games than Boston. But still, wouldn’t get ahead of ourselves on the dynasty talk.

Also there is still plenty of time for the Bucks or Nugs to turn into a dynasty, these teams all won in the last three years

 

They were good. I just roll my eyes at “they’re gonna be a dynasty” stuff before they can even finish their first duck boat parade lol

 

I have nothing concrete to go off of but basketball fans are the most dramatic and reactionary of The Big Four in North America

I’m going to be a whole different type of annoying guy and ask that people quietly look up the actual definition of the word “reactionary” lol I’m not judging, I used to use it that way too, just a PSA.

it’s a dumb bit. there hasn’t been a repeat champ in six years lol. there isn’t going to be a dynasty until there is a dynasty. crowning one after one championship that had an incredibly easy path is the definition of foolish

 

Lost in the shuffle today was Cuban no longer being in control of basketball operations for the Mavs and Nico having full control. End of an era, and one I’m thankful for being over.
