That was very likely the last playoff game he’ll ever play. No serious team is offering him a deal this summer.

People said that about Brooks too, some team will snag him I just don’t see it being for any amount of money close to anything he’s made, is he a vet min player ? Will he accept that or just realize he’s awful and go play in another league

 

He's going to pull an Al Horford, go to the Celtics on a minimum, and somehow torture the Sixers for the rest of time.

 

God no Horford was actually good outside of his Philly stint and is now, Tobias would be the worse Marcus Smart taking away from the real stars

 

Harris was pretty good before the Sixers, especially in the Clippers. And I think the first two years was actually pretty good with Philly?

But in no way do I think this will happen. He's just good enough at this point to put up empty stats on a non-competitive team.

 

It'll be really interesting to see Morey's strategy, though.

Do they look at a LeBron/PG-type third star in free agency?
Do they use their picks to try to nab someone like Brandon Ingram, who might be a casualty of the new cap rules?
Do they re-sign anyone on the current roster?

The only other team that looks like they'll be in a spot as intriguing as Philly is Orlando. June 30th can't get here fast enough.

 

I think Philly shoots for Lebron / KD / Paul George, but ends up with like Klay or DeRozan.

After watching some of the post game interviews and seeing how much a lot of these guys (Payne, Hield, Oubre) talking about how much they'd like to be back and play for Nurse, combined with Embiid stressing continuity, I definitely would not mind at least some element of a run-it-back-with-upgrades sort of deal.

Completely different vibe around the team than after playoff collapses in the past.
