I partake so trying not to be hypocritical but it’s gotten a little much. I don’t think any sports league should be associated with a betting app.

Then there’s Shams who is partnered with a betting app that directly influenced the betting lines for the draft this year with a single tweet (turned out to be wrong too)

There’s also been a severe uptick in players losing stats like rebounds, steals, blocks etc after a game has ended

And there’s a ref in the league that exchanged tons of texts with the last known ref to rig a professional game lmao

the bucks defense is less concerning to me than the offense. they make errors, sure, but they play with more aggression and intensity than they did during the bud era. more cutoffs deflections steals, quicker close outs, more chase downs in the paint, etc. my take is the errors will correct themselves by year end and the big plays will remain

the offensive stagnancy and dame and giannis not combining for many if any good games together on the other end is much more worrisome
