    the Saints are the most extreme case of the salary cap in NFL history

    there are numerous, numerous ways you can get out of cap hell. They just suck at it.

    And they still have a ton of talent! They’re winning with their starting qb injured and their top WR on constant IR. I’ve been told the saints should be basically an expansion team for the last 5 years

    The cap is very real and it’s weird to argue against a very good example of it causing attrition of important players

    But Randall! The cap isn’t real! The Eagles only got very good players from other teams because those teams were bad at managing their cap, unlike the Eagles!

    Cap hell is akin to dying from drinking too much water. Yes, it’s technically a real thing that can happen, but you gotta WANT it to get there.
