My guess right now is that the smoke around Houston picking Anderson is a different avenue of smoke to try to get someone to pony up for Arizona’s 3 pick before the draft

If it’s true, it also means Houston is kinda a disaster zone still

it’d be a huge bummer for that org to have finally gotten the long-term HC solution the GM was looking for after canning coaches in 3 consecutive seasons and having the premium pick needed to get Watson’s successor only to lose the GM 3 months later and potentially bringing in someone who isn’t aligned with the core built up over the last couple seasons of sucking
