I am fine with Juju because at minimum wanted a Meyers caliber player (on top of a #1), but would have preferred to keep Meyers since he already knows the system and is comfortable with Jones. They're pretty much the same to me but I still think there needs to be a move for a real legit WR1. Whether it is through trade or draft. At this point probably hoping #14 will get that guy.

Just nervous seeing Miami and the Jets getting better and the Pats still just sorta staying the same which is average at best lol

My buddy went to a pats/jets game (in NJ) and he comes up to me and tells me the first person he talked shit to was an 11 year old kid wearing a Braxton Berrios jersey

 

no disagreement on WR. still crossing fingers for one of the following: 14 on JSN, trade back a few spots for Flowers, trade the 2nd for DHop or Jeudy, trade a mid round pick for Sutton. Right now I think tackle in the first is a greater need so I probably prefer one of the latter ideas.

 

As much as I hate losing Jawaan, missing out on Slay, and losing Arden Key

it’s still a nice feeling this off-season being like “whatever we got Trevor and Doug, I don’t need an aggressive offseason to be optimistic”

 

My satisfaction as a Jags fan in the off-season used to entirely hinge on us making good signings and knocking the draft out of the park. Like, 2015, 2018 and 2020 were kinda agonizing off-seasons because we did not do those things. I remember trying to talk myself into TJ Yeldon and Taven Bryan and CJ Henderson even though on paper I hated those picks because I wanted to be optimistic lol.

now, while the off-season is still fun for me to follow as a football fan in general… as a Jags fan regardless if we signed all those guys or not, regardless whether we draft awesome or just okay, I’m excited for the regular season and some more Trev W’s

Yeah honestly if they get away with Tackle in the first and still trading for Jeudy …. I’m allll in with that! Tackle is such a big need that I think it’s more realistic to use #14 on (or their first round pick if they trade down). But if JSN is there I feel like you gotta do it
