my hope for the 2023/2024 NBA Season Thread is that when a team simply loses part of their larger lead, it isn't viewed as a collapse or 'choking'. what a great goddamn game.

 

After seeing the Suns lose to the Nuggets, I was disgusted with those mile high fuckers. But it's so easy to root against the Lakers... let's go Nugs.

They’ve been trying to find the running mate for dame that makes them a contender for a decade now, it ain’t happening, makes infinitely more sense to get a kings ransom for dame and reset around Simons, Sharpe, Scoot/Miller and the dame haul, but Portland refuses to even entertain the idea of life after lillard

 

why would they entertain the idea of life after the best player the franchise has seen that is still very good

 

who even has a good package for Dame? his return might not be as high as they want.

 

i dont see a world where portland wins a championship with the remaining years of dame's career.

When Miami gets eliminated, I’d highly look at it if I were them. They got their picks now, Herro, Lowry contract, probably another one of their decent players.
