I'd also rather have the Suns play the lakers than the warriors, so there's that part of it too.

 

Why don’t the Lakers play Mo Bamba a few mins? I know he isn’t like great or anything. But he’s a solid player off the bench and can give AD a little rest instead of him having to play 40+ mins every night.

 

This has to be the first time in NBA history where a 7th AND an 8th seed make it to the conference finals, no?

 

i was just going to ask what has the lowest combination of seeds to ever make the finals? it is not out of the question that the 7 seed Lakers and 8 seed Heat are the representatives from each conference.

it doesnt matter who the heat were in the regular season. this is who they are now.

not sure any combo will pass 1999 - Knicks as the 8 seed in the strike-shortened year. before this it seems unlikely to have high seeds for awhile. Bulls w/ Jordan were always 1 or 2 and all the teams they faced were 1-3 seeds and then before that you have endless Lakers and Celtics.

 

what is so frustrating is how insanely beatable this heat team is. the bucks in the last series and the knicks now keep making completely dumb and solvable mistakes to piss away games.
