I’m not surprised Keegan made first team. Dude was the most league ready rookie from the class. I’ll be curious to see how he improves from here

 

What the Houston Rockets will do to a young man

 

I have legitimate star hopes for Keegan Murray

He flashed it in the playoffs which was so impressive for a rookie against a team like Golden State.
The shooting is evident, but throughout the season he showed some ability to attack off the dribble and hit pull-up jumpers/get to the rim. He started the year pretty timid in the paint but started to realize he has the size and athleticism to finish through contact, had a play in I think game 6 where he went up and two hand dunked thorough GP2 hacking the shit out of him, early in the year he would have got blocked or had his layup bothered enough to miss so that growth was big.

I think his defensive upside is high as well, had some tough moments switching on to Curry but who wouldn't, played some really solid D on him at times though and I think bothered Klay as well as taking several big charges on draymond.

And mentioned the shooting already but he has a rare ability for a 6'8 wing to hit movement threes off the dribble or coming around DHOs, not something you see from a young taller guy often.

Sky is the limit for him I think
