teams know that drafting him means getting lebron for a season. you'll roll those dice picking him if he falls to you.

I like his game overall. Good team player. Does a lot of things well. I think height is the biggest knock. I think the shooting is fine and will get better, given his age. I’m curious to see what he develops into bc he doesn’t score like Darius Garland or other smaller players, so I’m curious what the ceiling will be as more of a creator and defensive stopper.

Maybe a Marcus Smart like role where he can play defense, and get ya like 12ppg and alert the crowd of impending sniper fire?

  5. If he pans out to be someone like Smart that would be a pretty big win for whoever takes him.

I’m not sure how his three point shot is. Smart can get hot and drain about 5 or 6 in a game at a decent %

lebron having to go to orlando to play with bronny after saying hed retire before going there would be supremely entertaining

As mentioned, Marcus Smart would be a great outcome. However, if you go back and look at Smart in high school and at OSU, he was a high volume scorer. He changed his game to fit in the NBA. I think having been a scorer before allows Smart to tap into that mindset on a smaller scale.

  14. Ratings definitely were hurt with the four most popular players all barely playing

I didn't realize it had lower ratings than the Pro Bowl. Yikes.

Honestly, I think the whole thing needs an overhaul. Abandoning the traditional East vs. West format obviously wasn't the ratings spike they hoped, and I don't think most people cared about the live draft, either. And then there's the media presentation. I would happily live in a world where I never have to see or hear Adam Lefkoe ever again. And there was a moment where Kevin Harlan was telling viewers when and where to buy Tatum's (lackluster) shoes.

They didn’t even need the internet lol they were broadcasting his high school games on ESPN when he was 17. At least Wemby’s playing professionally. Doubt we’ll ever see a teenager as hyped as LeBron again.

They put Lebron on the cover of SI with the headline "Chosen One" when he was like a junior in hs lol.

I feel very lucky to have seen LeBron play throughout high school. OHSAA ruling him ineligible over the jersey sales and the Hummer was so ridiculous in hindsight. The amount of media comparing or asking LeBron if he was the next Jordan or Kobe was unreal.
