I think there is some residual roster bonus stuff, but basically yeah, trading him is pretty free and clear. But gets harder to do when you gave up your 1st rounder this year for him and suddenly want out in 1 year.

Taylor, Nelson, Leonard, and Buckner are pretty easily better than the best Lion, and there are very few black holes on the Colts’ depth chart (I’d argue maybe WR2, one of the DE spots, one of the safety spots after Blackmon went on IR, and if you wanted to call Eric Fisher a black hole I wouldn’t argue with you) and that’s like half of the current Lions roster

 

Like Gordon Ramsey can prob get away with treating his line cooks differently than the executive chef of a TGI Fridays.

Leonard and Buckner aren't weapons for Wentz.

Taylor and Nelson are the best two players for sure but after that I'd probably put Sewell, Ragnow, and Hock before the next Colt. Jackson, Decker, and Swift/Jamaal are all good too . A healthy lions offense is only lacking in receivers. ARSB is legit but that's it.

 

I'll take Belichick style asshole over BA style asshole any day
