gun to my head i think judge is out. if gettleman is really out/retiring today, that job is so unattractive for the right candidate if they go into it not being able to hire their own staff. i think 3 weeks ago Judge was all but guaranteed back but i think his post-game meltdowns these last few weeks have completely embarrassed an already embarrassed organization to a point i really dont think you can return from.

 

For whatever reason, a lot of these clueless owner are wowed by offensive minded coaches (example: the Johnsons with Adam Gase and Chicago with Nagy).

Some really great defensive coaches are out there. Flores and Fangio are both very good. Zimmer too. I think Flores has the best shot at getting another HC job this round. Minnesota should be on the phone with him ASAP.
