Justin Fields is probably better than Darnold. Idk why we're being so daft about Fields after Lamar, Watson, Hurts, Herbert, Allen, etc... are we denying Fields has great tools or rejecting the possibility of him improving with good coaching???

But also, Sewell should 100 percent be the Jets pick, regardless of if they pick 1st or 2nd.

 

The jets should trade their picks to chattanooga and fold as a franchise

 

Why do you keep comparing Fields to these quarterbacks, especially Deshaun Watson, Josh Allen, and Justin Herbert?

The position is more than tools. The kid is a non-competitor and he does not process the game at all. All of the quarterbacks that have come out of that system have stunk. It's more than being mobile and having a good arm.

You've talked yourself into Justin Fields because he was as possibility for the Jaguars.

 

Fields legitimately can't make reads beyond a HS level. He's worth drafting, but at a top 5 choice is a RISK.

 

Is Josh Rosen a fair comp for Fields

 

Kind of but Fields is obviously way more athletic. Lots of arm talent, not a lot of reads being made.

 

I don't know anyone past the 2nd round yet so forgive me if Quincy or Merlin are bad picks, but man the top of this draft...chefs kiss.

Right? I traded down to 4, and then down again to 5 and just loaded up. Then traded up one of my 3rd rounders to get a high 2nd rounder and boom off we go.

Because people said shit about those QBs too. Justin Herbert's scheme babied him, Josh Allen lacked intellect and was just raw ability, Watson I think was bad scheme too. Just saying that QBs rarely come out like Lawrence, they usually have things they need to learn/unlearn. Saying Justin Fields isnt even a QB at the next level is bonkers.

I'm not even saying hes gonna be good! I'm just saying writing him off entirely is silly.

It should be Trevor or no QB for the Jets. Penei Sewell or trade down. Every other QB needs the right situation around him to succeed and the Jets, well they have no situation lol.
