ugh. it really sucks but i cannot be that upset about it. he's a risk no matter how you cut it. the Mets pay him $21m suddenly theyre idiots to all the fans, then let him go and it's even worse. i thought he'd accept the QO and play for one more year and then go, but ultimately his time with the Mets was either over now or in 2022.

 

It is a little telling though that he never actually rejected the QO and basically took 3mil extra to leave town. I think he was just done with this franchise.

 

I am going to miss him posting pictures shirtless as he recovers from yet another injury.
