  1. I’m gonna give him 250 make him captain, let him coach, I’m fine with it.

no wonder the Rays attendance level is so low—Russians don't know anything about baseball!!!

  3. I think if I was a Yanks fan I'd also want them to extend him asap. But as an outsider unless management is willing to go over the luxury tax (WHICH THEY FUCKING SHOULD BE) I kinda wonder whether it doesn't make more sense to address other needs first

Also the lowest population within a 30 minute radius of an mlb stadium, but a lot of people pretend that doesn’t matter

@Jason Tate you gonna give up on the Yankees when judge leaves?

They’re not going over the luxury tax now when they weren’t willing to spend any money this year when they were picked to be WS favorites before the season.

this offseason is going to suck ass because nothing will happen until the CBA gets ironed out... if it actually does

They certainly have needs but none so much as manager. Cole, Severino, Montgomery is a good top of rotation.
The bullpen really came together by the end, they need to keep that together.
Nestor could easily regress. Gleyber and DJ should rebound, it's really only up for them. I'd keep Rizzo if I could, his defense at first is so valuable. 92 wins is almost certainly the floor for this team as is though

Aaron, just say Nevin fucked up "it looked like there was gonna be an in between hop"

I can't take anymore of his little league participation conferences

The fact that they kept running Heaney out there when he's a free agent will forever be baffling. It's not like he had two years of control or something. I will never ever understand it

  14. I'm not convinced that manager is actually the biggest need but I'll defer to y'all. Seems like a lot of the problem was roster construction as much as roster usage so that's on the FO too.

Anyway Cole/Sevy/Montgomery is a decent top of the rotation in a vacuum but I dunno that's kinda weak for a team as rich and with as high of expectations as the Yanks. I really think what separates good teams from great ones is their starting pitching depth.

Oh yeah and figure out the goddamn injury thing lol, it's too much to just be random at this point

I don't even know what's available for pitching lol. And so many of their tradeable pieces are at absolute low points.

6.76 era since Cole's hamstring injury. It had to be a problem for him.

Hopefully Gil or Schmidt can stick next year. They badly need a hit on one of their pitching prospects

  20. Cole will be fine. He was clearly hurt. He's gonna come back with a vengeance to make everyone shut up about sticky stuff, has a whole off-season to adjust instead of changing mid-season

What high school did she go to?
Kinda, that’s like 20ish minutes down I-70 for me. It’s not bad though, one of the nicer suburban areas of the greater STL area. Like it’s not the sprawling suburb hell that is O’Fallon and it’s not a big town like St. Charles, it’s the middle ground between the two of that makes sense. It’s got a dying mall, a community college, and just about every chain restaurant you can think of.

  22. Yeah I can picture the equivalent place in Kentucky near where I grew up haha. And my bad, like I said everything west of the river is the same to me I'm afraid

I mean, it pretty much is lol. Like there’s a reason you run into all these people from St. Charles County and beyond who move to the city and act like they were just trapped in O’Fallon their whole lives and just suffered. You also have all the white flight people who fled North County and what not across the Missouri to avoid sharing their white fiefdoms with Black people (there’s a fabulous documentary about Spanish Lake that goes into this more) and they’ve been turning places like Wentzville into shitter versions of their hometowns more or less.

Like don’t feel bad if you’ve haven’t traveled much west of the Missouri, because you’re not missing out on much lol.
