I actually don't see how he doesn't get in, to be honest. He's met every counting stat that are the minimum for inclusion (2000 hits, 300 HR, 1000 RBI) for people who still care about such things. May actually build upon those if this resurgence is for real. Won plenty of award/all-star nominations. And of course, most importantly considering the direction the voter base has shifted, he is absolutely adored by the sabermetric crowd. Probably gets almost all of those votes, but I could also see some more traditional-minded people throwing him a vote, if those still exist in 5+ years
