The whole 'rock n roll' theme that Cleveland has been going with for the past 20 years is so overplayed and tired.

It’s a great name with an actual connection to the city. Love it.

I’m sure with time, they will come up some awesome iconography.

 

Cleveland Guardians is actually a pretty cool name, the wings logo whips (reminds me of the 90s Angels logo), and while I was very pro-Spiders I think this is actually a good choice. My mom and a lot of her family are from Cleveland and don't seem too happy about it though (but also most of them besides my mom are Trumpers so they just hate the name change idea in general bc they're idiots)

I find Drew Carey to be the dullest, most unfunny “funny person” of the past 25+ years. Therefore, the Cleveland Rocks just triggers all the wrong vibes for me.

Rich Hill was lights out in May. He’s been fine otherwise. The Rays must see something they aren’t liking and maybe don’t think he’ll hold up as well for a deep season if they’re thinking of losing starting pitching (which we are depleted anyways).

Expect we will either see a promotion of Honeywell/Patiño permanently or the Rays are gonna make a headline deal.

 

The reported return for him is odd though lol

this has salary dump all over it (as if they might absorb a hefty contract in his replacement )

They should trade for Snell and Morton

 

I absolutely thought Morton was on the table a couple weeks ago. Depends on how determined Braves are.
