    Hahaha texas. Hahaha haha

Damnit. Now I don't know. Me and my brother debated to see Baylor vs oklahoma (90minute drive) or Kansas vs Texas (15minute drive).

We chose the "better" game and got a great, exciting result...but the game wasn't in question.

Seeing a great exciting game and getting a chance to laugh at longhorn fans haha.

In the end the big12 said fuck off ou and ut to sec

Leipold is one of the best ever. Not too many out there better at calling the run game.

    He’ll get Kansas turned around.

    Pecking order
    1) UGA
    2) Big Ten Round Robin Winner (if 1 loss)
    3) Oregon wins out
    4) Cincy (Bama if they win SEC)
---- if Oregon or cincy lose ----
    5) Big 12 team if 1 loss
    6) Notre dame if 1 loss
    7) Wake if 1 loss
    8) 2 loss Bama

Feel like the ducks are leaning into being a run heavy team the last couple weeks and it’s working. We’re not blowing teams out but were controlling games I like our chances to win out. QUACK

Put Cincy 3rd cowards. I don't want them to face Georgia round 1

If they want to run the ball so much why do they stink so much at recruiting rbs lol

I hope UTSA get a decent bowl game if they win out. Cincinnati or Houston are probably getting the G5 NY6 spot if either win out, or even if Cincy loses to SMU

One of my biggest qualms with the bowls is how the tie ins and the way the games are set up.....well they could be drastically improved. I would set up a bowl that pit the two best non power schools against each other. Or something much more concrete than what they get now.

San Diego state will play, like, oregon state in vegas. I mean, whoopee?

at least vegas is a decent destination. it's better than having bowls in birmingham or mobile, alabama

Completely agree. Another thing id fix is make these bowls in more fun, unique places.

Like the Bahamas bowl actually makes sense. Yankees stadium bowl is a cool concept. Id love to see more of that. Ireland, Europe. Lambeau field. Hell, Hawaii should have 2 bowls (different islands if feasible).

Looking at this year's slate. THREE BOWLS IN ALABAMA!? Frisco is stupid. They are getting better though. I see there's a fenway park bowl now. Myrtle Beach has a bowl..

And in the end, they just put more geographically friendly teams in these borderline destinations, so its not even special for their fan bases. Having a team like north Texas play in a texas bowl vs troy...lame

Huh. So it looks like they're sorta doing that. Montgomery bowl is gone.

Now there's a bowl in fenway, myrtle Beach, and LA bowl in the new stadium.

Oddly theres no bowls in Northern California l.

That Butch Davis/FIU situation is pretty crazy and sounds like a total mess.

    The rivalry is back on

I’m fine with it in the sense that I think playing at the infrastructure we already have (even if it’s in a boring place like Shreveport, LA) over forcing a new stadium on a different Hawaiian island so that it can support the 30th best CFB bowl game sounds more sustainable, and it keeps the travel costs down for some of the relatively low revenue bowls

if all that stuff works out though, yes please I’m on board with more cool location games

I would have loved to go see App State in the Myrtle Beach Bowl last year but it was at like 7.5% capacity due to Covid :worried:

Oh of course haha I mean only if a stadium already exists. I'm just blindly assuming Hawaii has a half decent stadium somewhere else in Hawaii. Or hell, do 2 In the same stadium.

But yes, long point short, if we are having so many nonsense bowls, they should at least be in more "fun" locations. Lambeu field, Yankees stadium, soldier field, oracle park etc etc

It’s a bit weird that Boise usually gets a bowl, but no other NW city has one. They did they Seattle bowl for a few years but that went away.

Hawaii doesn’t even have one decent stadium right now. Their old one got condemned and their new stadium won’t be done for a while
