I just turned on the game but I’m not as mad about this Florida game as maybe I should be? Mullen has finally got Emory Jones playing a good game and doing exactly what he should do against Samford. Defense is playing a bunch of new guys (I think) along with a brand new defensive coordinator, so I’m not surprised they aren’t doing well.

yes, we should smoke samford every time, but if we put up 70 points on them, I’m not going to be super pissed about the defense looking terrible.

Giving up 52 to Samford is only excusable if you're putting up well into the 100s. Whoever is calling defensive plays should've had his clearances revoked and desk packed at halftime.

 

I guess I’ve already given up on this season so I’m numb to the anger I should be feeling

I guess my point is Mullen has the offense functioning like it should, so at least there’s something to feel ok about after the past few weeks when there were no positives at all.
