I'm more scared of Cincy than Michigan.

 

I’m super excited for all the Bowls to be announced. After a half assed bowl season last year, it’s going to be nice to get a full one this year.

 

If Bama plays like they did against Auburn, Florida, Arkansas, or A&M, Cincinnati will have no problems. However the playoff switch has been flipped and Alabama turns into an entirely different team.

 

Big Ten really needs to realign divisions

 

So I guess for other bcs bowls
Sugar: Baylor vs Ole Miss
Rose: Utah va Ohio State

And there no other tie ins really so
PITT, MICHIGAN STATE, NOTRE DAME, OKLAHOMA STATE.

Personally, I'd like notre Dame vs ok state and msu vs pitt (since notre Dame has played pitt and msu recently, fresh matchups)

 

Yeah if only they didn't lose to (checks espn) bowling Green at home!?...who knows.

If what I read is correct, for the first time ever there are more bowl eligible teams (84) than bowl slots (82)… so they’re creating a one-off bowl game for the final two teams.

Is this a sign of greater parity or is there such an accumulation of talent in the top 25 programs that everything else is a 50-50 toss up?

I know it encourages scheduling cupcakes, but they should change bowl eligibility to 7 or 8 wins, and cut down on the number of bowls.

 

As long as college players aren’t getting paid, I say let them all go to bowls and get swag and a free vacation and what have you.

But if they’re getting paid (and not just the NIL stuff), I agree. 8 wins would be a much more fun benchmark, or maybe 50% of your conference games.
