That tweet would have some merrit if the Rockies front office has ever shown that they actually have a long term plan for the franchise and seem like they know how to run an organization.

If it's just a one year agreement to expand the playoffs I think that's a decent deal for the union. If they have to give up that bargaining chip long term, i.e. for CBA negotiation in a year, might be better to reject it.

As a fan I'm totally fine with that. Sure I'd love baseball a month sooner but it's objectively not safe right now and 154 beats the hell out of 60 or 100

Nope nope. No expanded playoffs. Once they start it its not going back. You expand playoffs i won't watch baseball until September, point blank

 

I also would prefer they not expand the playoffs but that sounds like a "you" problem tbh

 

Dustin Pedroia officially retired. Would have been interesting to see if he had stayed healthy if the HOF was within reach for him. Definitely one of my favorite Sox players ever.

a Mets website last night posted that they had a 'bombshell' announcement about a story involving 'allegations' against Mickey Callaway - the post was deleted this morning and supposedly several people were fired and/or quit over the leak.

I cannot find anything substantiated on this nor really do I know what specifically it's potentially about, but it sure is interesting.
