I have to watch my cousins tonight which means I get to listen to a 12 year old who knows nothing about hockey tell me all about hockey. God help me he’s the most annoying kid I’ve ever met (and always has been, this is just who he is lol)

 

Amalie is gonna be wild tonight.

 

Is he one of those kids who comments “not a real sport” any time espn posts hockey? Lol

 

I'm in Long Beach NY tonight and the bars are fucking packed

 

Went to the movies for the first time in over a year to distract myself from stressing about tonight's game which worked right up til the movie ended and then the stressing started up again.

Also Fast 9 is ridiculous and I loved it.

Him: yeah that’s like a quarter of a mile

every single sentence and comment he has an opinion on. He’s going to be a terribly hated person when he grows up lol.

we were watching Olympic trials before and he had lots of opinions, which to him are facts, about how the starting block works and all sorts of shit I didn’t ask about even though he’s never seen a starting block before and never heard of it before 5 today lol

Yup, I was totally distracted by that and got annoyed when they moved the camera away from it

 

After being on their heels for 40+ minutes they’re only down one. This has all the makings of an Islanders win.
