reading this and it sounds even worse for the future if the dodgers are purposely avoiding spending because revenue margins can go higher. UGH.

 

A lottt of teams are doing it, it's why free agents are getting paid less and less.

 

yeah I figured it but hearing our management openly admit it and the fact they know attendance will be good so no point in improving makes me upset.

 

at this point, sure, whatever...

 

I wish the minor leagues were independent from the MLB (would make MiLB games actually matter) and that there was promotion/relegation so that garbage teams get sent down if they suck too much

He was very involved after his playing days were done. He also owned the team for many years

 

Damn he had a good year last season. His whole batting line is like prototypical Jeter with more speed.

 

Took me a minute to realize it’s not 16 million per year. I get that it’s just the arb years and he’s already 30, so may as well get some guarenteed money now, but it’s still ludicrious considering how good he’s been since breaking into the league
