Halladay had my favorite non-Cubs pitching motion. So pleasing to my eyes. Maddux/Hendricks and Arrieta (love the crossfire delivery) are my other favorites. Compilations of Roy are a delight.

I always vote for Abreu for the HOF in OOTP. I’m fairly sure I don’t really believe he should be in, but there are times I look at his b-r page and wouldn’t be upset at all if he got in somehow

 

I'm upset that Michael Young didn't get more votes, think he's plenty deserving

 

Mussina better have an Orioles cap on his plaque. His Yankee career wasn't HOF worthy.

man looking at Johan's numbers... what a wacky career. He just needed like, 2-3 more years of "good" pitching...not even great...and he'd be a shoe in for the hall.

 

Just here to say that the braves have "improved" by signing BRIAN MCCANN AND NICK FUCKING MARKAKIS. if Donaldson gets hurt again then we will have a worse team than last year. So frustrated with baseball and the market of billionaires that refuse to spend money.

 

I saw that and was like "what are the braves even doing?!?", are they waiting for some miracle free agent class?

 

Yep. The most exciting part of the off season has been the unveiling of the uniform changes.

They've done nothing to improve the team at all. They're banking that Donaldson is gonna be MVP Donaldson and not washed up, injured 33 year old Donaldson. I like to think losing Kurt and adding McCann is a wash, but Kurt is likely better. I expect nothing from McCann at this point. He'll prob spend half the season on the DL with bad knees or something.

Even more concerning is nothing has been done with the pitching. The rotation is Folty/Newk/Gausman/Teheran/take your pick of any of our 15 up and coming guys for that 5th spot. Why is Teheran still around? Is Folty really a #1 guy? Why do we have an army of pitching prospects and they're basically all off limits in trade discussions?

Oh, and the bullpen is still a wreck and other NL East teams have improved their clubs. I don't get it.
