Mussina surprised me just a little bit, thought he should've been in before so I'm glad. I just wasn't expecting it for some reason.

It is crazy that a closer is the first with how some people view closers. I thought best % could happen but didn't expect unanimous at all. You'd have to feel like a monster to vote against Mo though haha.

 

There might be one or two asshole writers who are like "Sure I'll vote for Mo because he was definitely the greatest closer to ever play the game, but Jeter doesn't deserve 100% because he wasn't the greatest position player to ever play the game"

Mo getting 100% is awesome. I never thought unanimous would happen and I’m glad it finally did, especially for Mo.

Mussina not being in has annoyed me forever. If I had any platform to have a HOF candicacy be my pet project of sorts, it would’ve been for Mussina
