one time when i was 10 i was sitting behind the bullpen in fenway and tek (my fav) was signing autographs and he stopped after signing the kid directly to my right's ball

i was devastated honestly

 

I got to meet Tek once. My buddy and I waited outside a car dealer for 6 hours. We were 2nd and 3rd in line. Then we were told we couldn't go in because we didn't have the official invitation. The guy who was first in line blurts out "they're my nephews. They're with me." No idea who he was and he looked NOTHING like us, but appreciate that man haha.

 

very jealous. one time papelbon was signing autographs on the first base line and i was too far back and wasn't going to get to the front and a random guy picked me up and held me up in the air so pap could sign my ball

unfortunately it was in sharpie so it just looks like a pink smudge on the ball now after however many years but i'll always know what it is

One time for my birthday, my dad took me to a game. I met Shea Hillenbrand and Cliff Floyd. I asked Cliff what it's like having his own baseball card. It was clear he never got that question before because he took a second and was like "it's pretty freaking sweet" haha

 

omg that is so great. great question

 

Also, Carlos Delgado fucked with me that game and became my mortal enemy. I held a grudge against him until last Christmas.
