They just said on Michael Kay Show, Betances 2 ERA in the 8th and 3.97 ERA in the 9th

His 9th Inning ERA last year was 2.66. He's good. I wouldn't worry about it.

 

Oh I'm not worried about him. One bad game. It's just that it made zero sense at that time to move people from their normal roles lol

 

Got my first Topps Now card. The walk off grand slam was too cool and I was so hyped and couldn't resist, so I splurged and went with the auto /99 version

 

That's awesome.

 

I got a bunch of those last year for Judge, I love the concept. I did not splurge on any autos for those though haha

 

I can only imagine the price of the Judge autos. The Bote auto felt reasonable compared to what I've seen recently for Acuna and Gleyber.

I've been really enjoying Topps Now. It's fun to see cool events commemorated the next day. Some of the events they use are kind of lame, like today for Acuna: most hits by a 20 year old Braves player in a month. Not the most hits ever in a month by a Braves player, just a 20 year old Braves player. Weird reasoning, bordering on useless fun fact. But I'm sure some people love those cards, which is cool!

 

Haha Judge prices were silly yeah. I have some autos from before '17 when people expected nothing of him after his debut though. Actually have a couple I spent less than 20 for.

With all the successful young players they go a little crazy with the age specific stats yeah haha
