Does anybody here live in or near Madison, WI and want to play catch this weekend? I want to make good use of this absurd 60 degree weather and it's incredibly hard to find people to throw with

Try and find a men's baseball league

 

I always wanted to play with my friends but they never would. I can throw really well and I want to use it but they only insist on touch football, which is awful.

 

I'd like to find a men's league, but at this point a stiff breeze is enough to sprain my ankle. Plus ever since I took a fastball to the jaw before my senior year I've been psychologically terrified of live pitching, even with a cage.

 

get on board with a softball league at least... ive been doing it for a few years now and it's a nice lazy old man way of getting to swing a bat and not kill yourself

 

It haven't faced Live pitching yet but I don't think anyone can really hit more than low 80s.

After Betances lost the arbitration case, pretty unnecessary to come out and talk like he's that unimportant, especially after Andrew Miller showed last year how sometimes your most important pitcher isn't the closer. Yeah arbitration is based on saves mostly for relievers but a three-time All Star with the most relief innings over the last three years? He's worth 5 mil a year, just take your arbitration victory and shut up Randy.

 

Why does the president of the Yankees care about like $3m enough to cry about it in the press

 

First two days, Tyler Austin breaks his foot, Goose Gossage basically trashes Mariano, Levine trashes Betances. Good start ugh lol

 

Guess Betances won't be signing an extension

as a kid I used to love watching my family in those like slow pitch softball leagues.

I've been wanting to join one of those leagues eventually.

 

I live in madison and would definetly be down sometime. Have thought about joining a mens league but need to get back into throwing shape since i'd want to pitch.

 

Anybody interested in getting a fantasy league for $ together?
