pretty indifferent on Bruce coming back to the Mets, the money is fine but just feel like we're gonna end up feeling stuck with him. I hope he can keep his bat hot and stay healthy, and seeing as he had like a 5-6 team no trade list, it's pretty clear that he wants to be here for a while.

 

Well they didn't really try to be fair lol 3 years, 29 was their offer right? I thought I saw they offered 10 mil less. But yeah not a good match

 

I think being one of the only other teams willing to go for the third year is, at very least, trying.

3 years for 39mil for the Giants would have been a very gross deal. Maybe other teams are okay paying Bruce that, but I'm not.

When it comes to 30+ available outfielders, I'd rather the Giants go get McCutchen anyway.

 

McCutchen is going to be worth a lot more than 3/39. If Bruce plays like he did last year for two more years, that contract will be really good.
