Their fanbase is throwing in the towel.


The team who is 3 games under .500, has lost heartbreaking after heartbreaking game, the 2nd worst bullpen in baseball, and a flawed lineup.

Their fanbase is as excited as ever.

Lol 30 games over and like 12 games combined out of Severino, Betances and Stanton (a top 3 Cy Young finisher, only reliever with 5 straight 100 strikeout seasons and an NL MVP) all of whom should be back for playoffs.

This fanbase is so spoiled it's stupid

 

I think it's 9 iirc. I think Stanton's played in NINE games.

And we just got him back from injury like a week ago, haha. Not that it matters, not really playing for much at this point. Also I'm surprised that Kela got more games than Garrett. I know he threw at Dietrich, but I wouldn't think that would be worth a worse suspension than starting a brawl.

Oh I'm not sure. That could certainly explain it then if that's the case.

 

I know he was suspended by the team a few wks ago for an altercation with a staff member and then I thought I remembered him having a history of throwing at batters maliciously. But I dunno

 

I knew he had a two game suspension right when he was due back from injury but the initial report was vague and I forgot to follow up on it. Didn't know about his history of throwing at guys but that's definitely a good reason for a longer suspension if he's a repeat offender. Thanks for the info.

I think they will. AA and JD go way back and I definitely see him getting a 2 year deal to stay in Atlanta.

 

I'm more hopeful that they will than I was because you absolutely have to keep this current group together, but I always worry about the Braves cheaping out because of shitty ownership.
