I think they can get a package from Boston to make Diaz worth the trade and Wheeler may bring back more than you'd expect based on the need for pitching for some of these teams really trying to solidify the rotation for October. Wheeler can also come out of the pen for 2-3 innings which could be huge in the post-season.

As for tonight? I think it was supposed to be Lyles’ start before he got dealt so now it’s just bullpen guys, and they’re all terrible (besides Vasquez). As for every other game lately? More of the same. No consistent pitchers and the hitting has regressed. Don’t think Bell has a HR since the break. Maybe only 1 or 2 RBIs as well.
