Imagine being this worked up over an All Star game you said sucked thirty minutes ago

 

Imagine being a bandwagon fan not living anywhere close to the team you root for having no connection at all to that team/city.

 

You could give Andrelton Simmons a fucking jetpack and he wouldn't get to that ball and throw the runner out from where Torres was positioned. I mean I get the whole blind hatred thing (have you seen me talk about the Cubs) but at some point a little light-of-day rationality has to seep through, right?

 

Imagine feeling like this matters so much that you have to bring it up every fucking week

 

Until I moved to St. Louis last August I had never lived in the same city as any of the 4 pro sports teams I root for so I guess I'm fake even though I cried when the Cards lost in 04 and I was 12 huh

Really proud of my hometown for shining during such a great All-Star week. Everything from all the outdoor festivities at Play Ball Park to the set-up and activities at the Convention Center indoors to the MLB All-Star Concerts on Friday and Saturday night and obviously the HR Derby and the actual all-star game.

Really cool to see Cleveland shine on the national stage.
