I have a prediction: Bryce Harper's 2019 Great Awakening begins this week vs. STL starting pitching. It would make too much sense.

Bregman talks about that on Collin McHugh's podcast. If I remember correctly, he was batting 6th or 7th after being called up and was struggling hard. Then Hinch moved him into the 2nd spot as a vote of confidence and he immediately got a hit. Still struggled a bit afterwards but that vote of confidence was huge for him.

Chris Paddack might be the most must-watch pitcher in baseball right now. Definitely top 3.

Paddack v Alonso is a rookie matchup for the ages

 

When Paddack pitched vs. STL about a month ago they said that he comes to the ballpark everytime he starts wearing full cowboy regalia head to toe: hat, boots, etc, plus sunglasses, and barely speaks to anyone before the game. His nickname is The Executioner

 

Also: Paddack was a Marlins prospect. The ineptitude of that organization knows no bounds
