At least Judge had a good game coming in 0-13 against Verlander

Verlander has had a weird start to the season so far, I’m just gonna assume he’s heading towards washed.

    music and baseball.

Here is my list, with a little bit written for the top 10. I've decided I don't want to spend too much time on this at once. haha

    1. Astros – The Astros’ use analytics and data, combined with the results on the field, is still appealing to me. Their use of analytics to rejuvenate and reinvent pitchers is in a league of its own. It doesn't help that one of them is Verlander, who pitched for my alma mater and my favorite MLB team. And, to compliment their pitching, they have a young, high-powered offense led by, an extremely fun, Jose Altuve. And watching what weird things they are going to do on defense keeps me interested. My only complaint of this team is the trade for Osuna. I reckon I can just switch the game when he comes in to close, if need be.

    2. Oakland – The A’s always seem to be loaded with fun players which produce. No one constructs a roster with the amount of resources given, other than Oakland. This team is good at every position. They have a darling in Matt Chapman who is surrounded by an absolute MLB player at every position. There’s not on area on this team where you will watch “bad baseball.” That is particularly fun to watch. Plus, this small fanbase is remarkably underrated and Dallas Braden is a treat in the booth and sidelines.

    3. Red Sox – Just Dingers! With J.D. Martinez being the best hitter not named Mike Trout over the past three seasons, and Mookie Betts, arguably, having a better season than Mike Trout in 2018, this Red Sox team is extremely top heavy. However, if you cut the head off, they will not die. This club possess an outfield that is the best in the league defensively (manned by three legitimate CFs), an underrated SS, and a Cy Young heavy starting rotation led by Chris Sale.

    4. Yankees – Depth. The Yankees have so much of it. New York has a deep all-star line-up on the IL, and yet, they can still field MLB quality players. Obviously, Aaron Judge is insanely fun to watch; that body should not be able to do the things he does. And as if their bullpen wasn't deep enough, they had to go an add Ottavino, who I loved watching in Colorado. With Judge, Torres, and company, plus this bullpen, I expect this team to continue to compete for the division until they can get healthy and fire on all cylinders. Hyperbole incoming: it feels though this roster was constructed by manipulating a video game. When healthy, they could easily jump to number one.

    5. Phillies – One through nine (eight?), the Phillies have the most fun line-up in baseball. This offense should hum. That makes them a much watch, in my book. They also possess Aaron Nola and Jake Arrieta. Unfortunately, outside of those two, their pitching leaves much to be desired. Also, I have a man crush on Andrew McCutchen. He has arguably been my favorite non-Tiger player over the past decade. I would love to see him win a ring.

    6. Cardinals - Goldy is, of course, always fun. I can't tell you why, but he just looks like he should've always been a Cardinal. Also, I am a stern fan of Ozuna. I still think he's good and I'm hanging on that he will turn it on for St. Louis any day now.

    7. Rockies - Colorado's assets lie in pitching? It goes against everything you think when you think about the Rockies. Freeland, Marquez, and Gray doing well in mile high is cool to see. But the main reason to watch is to see Nolan being Nolan. He's a superstar.

    8. Brewers - I've been a big fan of Yelich's since he entered in the league with Miami. It's exciting to see him playing this well, but even before he was awarded MVP, its cool to see him get the respect he deserves as a player. Also, if you don't love watching LoCain, you don't like baseball.

    9. Angels - Mike Trout. That's about it, right now, but that's certainly enough to get into the top 10. I can't wait for Ohtani to return...

    10. Dodgers - I like dingers, and this team produces a lot of them. Beuhler has been fun to watch. Its going to be interesting to see if he can keep up his success. Also, once Kershaw comes back, he's must watch.

    yeah good okay Prestigious

Mariners have 32 homers, that's the most by any team in the first 12 games of a season in MLB history.

They currently have scored 98 runs.

I admire you for taking time to write up a list. But I’m confused. Is this like the top teams ranked? Or teams ranked by how much interest you have in them?

Bc the Angels are not top 10 material. And having the Reds in the middle of the pack and not in the bottom 3 is just wrong.

Yeah, just a quick list on my most fun teams of the year. Completely arbitrary. They did it on this baseball podcast I listen to, so I was inspired to write one myself.
